Unity’s Show and Tell FB group is sponsoring a Make it Green Color Challenge. As I’m still organizing all my craft stuff in my new She-Shed place, I’m encountering tons of beautiful patterned paper pieces. I saw this challenge and couldn’t help myself from participating after happening upon this green beauty! And I sat and created this card at my craft table in my new space for the first time! Here’s some pics of my still messy but somewhat organized craft loft! (And yes, I created a little respite corner, that I can sit with my pups, watch TV and rest my back, too!)
For this card, I used Unity’s One of Those People stamp sets. I found a piece of light tan card stock and stamped the image using Shabby Shutters distress oxide ink. I decided to color the image using my Prismacolor pencils to match the image on the paper. I then fussy cut it out as I wanted the patterned paper to shine through. I used Kraft card stock as a base and to offset the image. I used a blue distressed patterned paper piece for the sentiment that coordinated with the butterfly in the paper. I stamped it in blue and backed it with black paper. Finally, I added crystals and twine to complete the card.
Holy smokes!! Your space is magnificent and what a gorgeous card you did for your initiating the space!!
