About Me

My photo
Joyce Verdon
Welcome to my blog! I’m a wife, mother to a son and daughter-in-heart, and grandmother to a cute baby boy! After retiring from a right brain IT management career, I spent the first couple years raising 2 pups and getting a new hip. I then decided to go back to the passion of my past, using my crafty artistic side. I spent my 3rd year using coloring books, doing decoupage and watching YouTube videos - how to’s on pencil coloring, watercolor painting, decoupage, card making, mixed media art, etc, and, I took a college course Spring 2017, Intro to Watercolor. Summer 2017, I was making cards using precut ephemera. By September, I had started coloring and painting cards for the first time. In October, I posted my creations in Facebook groups and started getting requests for a blog, which I created in January 2018. Hope you enjoy my learning experiences as I continue exploring the artistic half of my brain.
